Wow this is hard. They're both (IMO) worlds above the other two in the final four.
I genuinely respect Justice O'Connor. Even when we didn't agree, I've always really admired her convictions, and she's such a lady. I have to admit though, there is a part of me, as a liberal and a woman, that feels absolutely abandoned by her. I try to understand why she stepped down, but it's a hard pill to swallow given who replaced her and where I think they're going. While she was the "swing" vote in so many cases, you could count on her to be LOGICAL. Something I don't think we have with the two (male) replacements. That saddens me.
Toni Morrison. Wow. As a writer I just have to do that "I'm not worthy" bow down. She's amazing. She's sharp as an arrow, and her writing style flows as if it were a gift. I'm not a HUGE fan of her books, but I've read countless essays and op-ed pieces written by her, and I aspire to be that powerful a writer.
In the end I would have to say, Justice O'Connor's affect on the world was more profound, even though Ms Morrison's was more beautiful.

I agree I think this one was harder too. That's the luck of the draw with brackets, they start so far away and then end up battling it out at the end. Can't wait to see who moves on Lois

I know! I think it will be Justice O'Conner though, looks like she's in the lead!
