When I'm hungry and on my way home from work with no ideas or food in the fridge on what to serve for dinner I just reach in my glove compartment. My meal planner helps solve the problem without a needed cook book and grocery list in front of me.
Simply, make a list of your families favorite meals and the ingredients that are needed and photo copy it and put it in each family car for quick reference. It saves the day when you can't think of something good and healthy to eat on the fly.

I like this idea. Would work well with online grocery shopping too, wouldn't it?

I do something similar to this and it does help! I keep a list of all the meals I've made that everyone liked and put it in a binder with the recipe for reference...it makes meal planning much quicker.

I have spent some time researching this! I have learned from my personal experience that if I take Sundays to prep my meals for the week all I have to remember is what I have planned for that day it' helps so much! Takes away the stress of what am I going to cook! I wrote an article about this hope it's helpful please give feedback and any other tips you may have!! It's not an easy thing to do to create a meal planner but I promise once you create the habit of taking a day out of the week to do this you will be so much less stressed! mickigram.com/?p=250

That's good because I use one too. I like that I just type in all the foods once, and I can choose among all the dishes. Plus, the dishes are usually very simple and don't take a lot of time. Usually, all of these programs are paid.
