What can I say? I really liked this movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman was INCREDIBLE as Truman Capote. I've always admired his work and am so glad he got a chance to really showcase his talents because I think he's been far underrated. Anyway, I thought the movie was very interesting and, although I'm embarassed to admit I've never read Capote's "In Cold Blood," I'm going to pick it up at my next opportunity and can't wait to read it. It not only changed the country in how we viewed Capote and literature, but it changed Capote himself forever.

Is IN Cold Blood the story about the family that was brutally murdered? I didn't realize Capote wrote the book about it. Cool!

Oh I've always enjoyed the parts that PSH has played. Has anyone here ever watched the two part HBO movie Empire Falls? PSH has a small part in it but it was a strong part in regards to the plot. I was enthralled by the mini series. Anyway, never read the book...know more of the movie. I'll have to check Capote out though.
