All I asked for is a day to sleep in! You would think I had two newborns, but my 3 year old is just always up at the crack of dawn - and I'm a 10 hour a sleep a night kinda girl....
We are also going to brunch at 11 a.m. - which will be fun - I guess it's at a place that they have activites for the little kids - should be nice.

I'm not sure what we'll be doing. My dh is not really great at planning this sort of thing. He'd be happy to go along with something if I make the plans. It would be so nice to have someone plan something for me though. Oh well. Sleeping in is on my itinerary too! Not sure what else. A nice, relaxing day with the family will be fine.

I'm not sure what we're doing. Jason being out of work has put a kink in our plan-making inspiration. There are plenty of free things to do, but Jason's been in a funk. Maybe I'll just ask for a day without Jason in a funk!  Really, I just want a nice day to sit outside and read for a little while.....and maybe some waffles made for me. |

So - how did everyone's turn out? Mine was nice - my favorite part was the ds (3) was just so excited that it was Mothers day and that he got to cook me breakfast in bed that he woke up at 5:30 a.m.  And he even tiptoed past me to wake up Daddy (which never, ever happens). It was adorable. And both the kids were just very good all day - it was so nice Amy |

Mine was super low-key...but nice. I'd gone out the night before, and Jason & Amelia let me sleep in, so I got up at 11:30  Amelia brought me a card that she & Jason had made (so sweet!) and then they made me waffles (which, by that time, were lunch). We just hung out all after noon. At one point they both took a nap, so I got to sit outside and read. Then we watched a movie that night. In all, a very nice day! |
