Any Sandra Boynton Book! It's hard to pick favorites--maybe "The Belly Button Book" and "Snuggle Puppy." We also have her book/cd of songs and it's awesome!

My son LOVES "Where the Wild things Are" and my husband loves to read that one to him.
Unfortunately, my son also loves any Dora books - ugh, I am so sick of Dora!! :-)

For those of you that have boys (and maybe girls, but it seems like a boy book), my boy LOVES the book Sam's Sandwich. It is about a boy who's sister is making a sandwich. Each page looks like a sandwich ingredient - and the girl puts it in, and Sam adds in a bug, which you uncover when you open up the page. It is written in rhyme and really cute!
