Hi
I'm Amy - I live in California. Mom to two, age 3 and 1.
I love the flexibility of my job - I hate being away from my kids!

Hi all! I've been away from these boards for a while so I thought I would reintroduce myself. I'm Julie and live in the greater Baltimore area. I am married and have a 3yo daughter who is quite the handful. I have another one on the way, due in January. I'm about 29 weeks now. Why do I find myself rounding down now where earlier on I was rounding the weeks up??? Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi Julie! My guess is either A) you're getting really freaked out at the prospect of a second, B) you're one of those crazy people who LOVES being pregnant and doesn't want it to end, or C) both of the above!
Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Good morning all. I go by cinderelli and I have one 4 1/2 year old son. He's the light of my life. I work in the Electrical industry (office stuff) and have for the last 15 years. I think every day is a challenge for working moms...but then who wants every day to be the same?

Hi, I'm Lisa. I live in Michigan and have three boys (9, 7, and 4), 3 dogs and a husband. I work full time in the healthcare system in the compliance office, and have come to the point to where I need to vent, talk, compare, and just read about other full time mom's lives. I'm looking forward to it!

My name is Shannon, I am a 19 year old mother of one. She is one year old and my pride and joy. I am an insurance sales representatitive.... and it gets stressful because I never get to see her or my husband. He is 22 and he is a coal sampler. I am just looking for people who understand where I am coming from because I really don't have friends who understand my busy life any more. I am also looking for tips on how to manage my time and energy better! lol... arent we all?

Hi Cinderelli, Lisa and Shannon! It's so great to see the community here growing.
Shannon, that's exactly why we're here. Meeting some other working moms--even just online--has helped me make it through some crazy days and avoid at least one nervous breakdown, I swear.

Its fantatstic to meet people who know what I mean. I work atleast 50 hours a week, on a slow week, lol. My husband is the same way, we both have hard jobs and although I don't want to be a stay at home mom, I would love to see her more. And I would love to be able to keep my home clean, and dinner cooked and so on and so forth. Any tips?

Hi Everyone,
It's so great seeing so many new faces and seeing our community grow! It's so wonderful to have a 'safe' place where everyone can vent/question/help one another through being a working Mom!
